Recently Closed Homeland Florist Voted as La Mesa's Favorite

Allen's Flowers & Plants finished second, but is also honored as a Readers Choice winner.

Sometimes, this happens.

In asking La Mesans which florist they like best in our , they selected . However, the longtime shop, which has been in the Village since the 1950s, recently closed.

It's a testament to their quality products and customer service that so many people would vote for them, despite them not being open anymore, as Homeland earned 50 percent of tht total votes.

That said, La Mesa-Mount Helix Patch would also like to honor as a winner. Allen's earned 36 percent of the vote, a very respectable total in its own right.
