Spring Valley Man Dies In Weekend Motorcycle Crash

Paul Swayze was fatally injured at the intersection of Willow Street and Bonita Road about 2 a.m. Sunday

Friends and family today were mourning a 27-year-old Spring Valley man who died over the weekend when he lost control his motorcycle and was hurled into a fence, authorities said.

Paul Swayze was fatally injured at the intersection of Willow Street and Bonita Road about 2 a.m. Sunday, according to the San Diego County Medical Examiner's Office. He was traveling southbound at a high rate of speed when he lost control of the motorcycle, it said.

Swayze was transported to Scripps Mercy Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 3:45 a.m.
