Video: Highlights of Grossmont Loss to Poway in Titans Tip-Off Classic

The Grossmont Foothillers basketball game finished up the Titan Tip-Off Tournament, held Nov. 29 to Dec. 2 with a loss to Poway High School at Eastlake High School.

The Foothillers finished winless, going 0-3.

In the Poway game on Monday, Titans guard Tom Erb led all scorers with 30 points, including six three-pointers. Grossmont fell behind early, trailing behind by 14 after the first quarter.

They made a run in the next two quarters, and trailed 50-48 after three quarters, but the Titans got hot in the fourth, pulling away for a 71-63 win.

Grossmont had its highest scoring output for the three tournament games on Monday, having previously lost 55-44 to Hoover on Nov. 29, and 58-40 to Mira Mesa on Saturday.
