Updated: One Lane Opens On St. Mary's Road
A non-injury accident that sheared off a power pole closed St. Mary's Road this morning. One lane just re-opened, but nearby traffic is slow

UPDATE 2:45PM-
MORAGA - According to Lafayette Police, one lane of St. Mary's Road is now open, with traffic officers in place for control.
PG&E crews continue to work on replacing a power pole and restoring power to about 160 customers after last night's non-injury vehicle accident.

Lafayette Police say the estimated time of reopening is 7:00 p.m., but they're calling that "only an estimate."
Police say on St. Mary's Road, the lane closure is at Bollinger Canyon Road. They say traffic slows at Rheem Blvd. in Moraga and Rohrer Drive in Lafayette.

Bollinger Canyon residents can make a right turn on to St. Mary's Road, police advise.
Lafayette Police say questions regarding the closure should be directed to PG&E at 1-800-743-5000.

MORAGA - A non-injury accident that sheared off a power pole has closed St. Mary's Road this morning, according to Moraga Police.
There have been power outages reported in the area. A check of the PG&E website at 7:20 a.m. showed 158 customers remain without power.
PG&E crews are on scene trying to restore power to the area. PG&E is estimating it will be 4:00 p.m. before power in the area is restored.
The outages are concentrated directly to the east of St. Mary's College.
Police say St. Mary's Road is closed at Rheem Blvd in Moraga and Rohrer Drive in Lafayette. You can make right turns from Bollinger Canyon on to St. Mary's.
