Grand Opening Wednesday Evening For Headlands Brewing Co.

LAMORINDA, CA — Craft brewer Headlands Brewing Co. will hold a grand opening celebration at their new home in Lafayette from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday.

The family and dog-friendly celebration is open to the public and includes live music and 20 percent off all food and beverages.

Headlands is an award-winning Northern California craft brewery that has been canning and kegging its ales and lagers locally since 2013. They have won multiple medals at the Great American Beer Festival, Copa Cervezas de America, La International Beer Competition, and the Good Food Awards.

It is located adjacent to popular local restaurants Bonehead’s Texas BBQ and Locanda Positano in the Lafayette Forge complex.

“We’re thrilled to finally have a home in the Bay Area” said Austin Sharp of Headlands Brewing. “Our Head Brewer, Mike Vinson, has been brewing in Lafayette for a few weeks now, and his beers are nothing short of phenomenal.

Adds Vinson, “I’m excited to brew a number of fun and sometimes experimental styles as well as a few beers that we’ve been perfecting for years. We also intend to showcase some of our favorites from other great local breweries who have inspired and supported us on our journey to this point.”

Longtime Lafayette resident and Taproom Manager Traci Joyce highlighted Headlands’ goal to be a lot more than just another beer bar. "We have focused a lot of attention on the food and drink menu, featuring local, organic and vegan sausages and snacks, amazing U.S. and international wines and ciders, our secret Frose recipe, frozen lemonade, and soft serve ice cream for those hot summer days. And everything is served in this incredible family and dog-friendly space with two patios, fire pits, ice cold interior air conditioning and the classic indoor/outdoor flow that is so characteristic of our northern California lifestyle”.

If you can't make it to the Grand Opening celebration, Headlands is open 3-9 p.m. Monday - Thursday, 3-10 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m. - 10 p.m. Saturday, and 11 a.m. - 9 p.m. Sunday.
