Lafayette PD Seeks Applicants For Citizens' Police Academy
Hurry, the next session is starting soon. Applicants must be 21 or older and live or work in the city of Lafayette.

LAFAYETTE, CA — The Lafayette Police Department is accepting applications for the next Citizens' Police Academy, which begins at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 18.
The Citizens' Police Academy is an opportunity for residents to learn how the police department functions and what some of its operational procedures are. The program uses a mix of lecture and hands-on experiences — much like the police academy that its officers attend. The intent is to provide residents with an overview of what it is like to be a police officer in the city of Lafayette.
The course is not intended to certify a participant as a police officer. Applicants must be 21 or older.
