Orinda Police Help Nab Burglary Suspects
The suspects stole two cars and personal property from a residence in Alamo, the Contra Costa County Sheriff's Office said.

CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA — Orinda police helped nab four burglary suspects this week, the Contra Costa County Sheriff's Office said.
Around 1:40 a.m. Wednesday, deputies from the sheriff's Valley Station responded to a residential burglary in the 100 block of La Sonoma Way in Alamo. It was alleged the burglars stole two cars and other items from the residence.
Deputies located the suspected thieves in Concord with the assistance of sheriff’s office dispatchers, but when the suspects sped away, deputies ended the pursuit.

Later that morning, one stolen car was found in Bay Point and the other in Orinda.
The sheriff's office said the four suspects ran off when approached, but with the help of Muir Station deputies, California Highway Patrol air support, and officers from the Orinda, Lafayette, and Pittsburg police departments, all four were located and arrested.

Both cars were also recovered, along with personal property, and returned to the owner.
The suspects were booked into the Martinez Detention Facility on suspicion of charges including burglary, felony evading and vehicle theft.
