Pickup Truck Lands 30 Feet Off Highway 24 In Lamorinda
The truck reportedly hit a tree as it went off westbound state Highway 24.

LAMORINDA, CA — A pickup truck when off state Highway 24 and hit a tree Tuesday afternoon in Lamorinda in a possible hit-and-run, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash was reported shortly after 3:45 p.m. on westbound SR-24 just east of the Acalanes Road exit.
The truck, possibly a white Dodge, went 30 feet off the right side of the roadway, according to CHP dispatchers.

It was initially thought to be a single-vehicle crash but shortly after 5 p.m., CHP was looking into it as a hit-and-run with injuries.
An ambulance crew responded but information about the severity of the injuries was not available.
