Traffic Advisory: Black Ice Closes Acalanes Road In Lamorinda
Water from a main break froze on the roadway, police said.
LAMORINDA, CA — Acalanes Road was closed at Butler Drive because of black ice, the Lafayette Police Department said Monday morning.
A water main break caused excess water which has frozen due to low temperatures, police said in a Nixle alert shortly before 9 a.m. Monday.
"Avoid the area until roadway is clear."
