The tree landed between two parked cars without damaging either one.

Residents on Larkspur Plaza Drive were shaken Tuesday night when a 20-foot tree fell across the road.
The tree in front of the Larkspur Isles condo complex came crashing down at about 9:35 p.m., sending residents rushing out of their homes to see what happened.
Amazingly, the tree landed between two parked cars without damaging either one.
Residents of Larkspur Isles directed traffic around the fallen tree, which was blocking one lane, until Central Marin Police and Larkspur Fire Engine 15 arrived to clear the two-lane road. Fire crews needed about 30 minutes to chop up the tree and clear away the debris.
Crews suggested after a cursory examination of the tree that the roots had rotted out.
