Around Town March 21-22: Whether it's for good health or a good cause, you're in for a treat this week.

It's all about good food, good times and a good cause this week.

• The right spices can change your food from ordinary to amazing and give your health a major boost! Besides the yum factor, spices have significant anti-inflammatory properties and impact gene expression in a healthy way. The Center for Integrative Health & Wellness Clinical Nutritional Counselor, Sharon Meyer, will teach you different and interesting ways to use spices to impact your own health. The cost is 435 and includes some tasty samples. The class starts at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, March 22.

• Date night? Why not add some good food, great music and dancing to your evening on Thursday — all for a good cause. Take Heart: The 2012 Concert to Benefit Bread & Roses, will be held from 6 to 9:30 pm at The Regency Ballroom in San Francisco. The concert will feature Mitch Woods and His Rocket 88s, Mark Hummel and his Blues Buddies, Phillip Percy Williams formerly of Beach Blanket Babylon and Cami Thompson with Judy Hall on piano. Other special guests include Nicolas Bearde and Maria Muldaur, as well as teen performing groups ‘Til Dawn and The San Domenico Virtuoso Program Quartet. Concert-only tickets are $75. • Filmmaker Phil Grabsky will be back at the Lark Theater on Wednesday, March 21, at 7 p.m. to present his documentary "In Search of Haydn," the final entry in his trilogy of films about the great composers. Grabsky’s biographical account of the life of Haydn includes breath-taking performances  by some of the world’s most celebrated and contemporary musicians. Tickets are $15.

• Check out the fresh foods at the Corte Madera farmers market at the Town Center every Wednesday, from noon to 5 p.m.
