Alternatives For Community Garden Site On Tonight's Agenda
Around Town Jan. 23-24: Corte Madera Parks and Recreation Commission will look at possible sites for residents to plant future crops.

• Larkspur's City Council will hold a special meeting at 3 p.m. today, Jan. 23, for strategic planning. It's a chance for council members to figure out a few goals for 2012 and for new members Brad Marsh and Ann Morrison to get comfortable in their new positions.
• Supporters of a community garden in Corte Madera will meet with the town's Parks and Recreation Commission at 7 p.m. tonight, Jan. 23, to discuss alternate sites for the garden. Supporters have looked at several locations, including Town Park, but it's been hard to find an area that satisfies everyone.

• It's storytime for parents and their little toddlers. The Larkspur Library is hosting its regular Baby Bounce on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. The Corte Madera Library welcomes Mother Goose on Tuesday at 10 a.m. Both events are perfect for children up to 24-30 months old.
• Redwood High School's basketball teams are looking for big wins against Tam High in Mill Valley on Tuesday, Jan. 24. The girls tip off at 6 p.m., with the guys at 7:30 p.m.

• Marin Catholic basketball hosts nearby rival Drake on Tuesday, Jan. 24. The girls are scheduled for 6 p.m., with the boys game at 7:30 p.m.
