The Marin Chapter of Compassionate Friends, an international support group for families who have experienced the tragedy of the death of a child will host a candle lighting ceremony on Sunday Dec 9 at 7 PM at Unity in Marin, 600 Palm Drive, Novato (enter via Hamilton Gate).
The gathering is part of a worldwide candle lighting event that will sweep light across every time zone to honor the memory of all children who have passed away. Parents, siblings, and friends of deceased children are invited to light a candle in their honor (candles will be provided). A reception will follow. You are welcome to bring a framed picture of your child for display and a food item to share at the reception if you wish.
