The California Highway Patrol Marin Area arrested 12 drivers for driving under the influence over the Christmas holiday weekend. Arrests are up this year from the nine arrested last year during the same reporting period. Additionally, the Marin CHP is happy to report there were zero fatal collisions over the Christmas holiday weekend, keeping with last year's reporting during the same period. The reporting period falls from Friday, December 23, 2011 at 6:01 P.M. through Monday, December 26, 2011, at 6:00 A.M.
