Marin County College Fair

Marin county students and parents interested in learning about college admissions, financial aid, and specific program and course offerings at colleges and universities across the country are invited to attend a college fair at Dominican University of California on Monday, April 16.

The Marin County College Fair, sponsored by the Western Association of College Admissions Counselors, is free and open to the public. It will be held at Dominican’s Conlan Recreation Center, 50 Acacia Avenue, San Rafael, 6-8 pm.

Representatives from more than 150 colleges, universities and other postsecondary programs in the US and abroad will be available to answer questions about their institution. In addition, there will be a booth staffed by the California Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators.

There will also be workshops on financial aid and college sports.

Because walking into a college fair can be overwhelming, college admission advisors recommend having a plan. Check out the list of college participants before the fair, choose the colleges you want to learn more about and, if possible, do some research before the fair.
