Bank of Marin Picks Advisory Council Members
Local merchants are asked to identify business and philanthropic opportunities.

Bank of Marin recently released the names of the members of its 2011 Advisory Board.
The Southern Marin representatives include David Gilmour of Paradise Foods, Lirry Mindel of Poggio Trattoria, Andrea Schultz from Greenbrae Management Inc. and Paul Lofholm of Ross Valley Pharmacy.
“As a leading community bank, it is critical that we understand the needs, issues and nuances of the markets where we do business particularly as we continue to expand our footprint in the North Bay,” said Russell A. Colombo, President and CEO Bank of Marin. “We engage advisory team members to ensure we are meeting the needs of our current and future customers and we give back to each community where it is needed most.”

Board members are recruited for their "specific knowledge of the local business and philanthropic community," according to the bank's spokesperson.
Jim Allen (Belvedere Land Company), Amy Belser (communications and political consultant), Mike Flaherty (Flaherty and Partners), Thomas J. Lahey (Plant Brothers Corp.), Dick Spotswood (political columnist), BRad Silen (Quality Process) and Greg Stern (Butler, Shine, Stern and Partners) round out the Southern Marin board.
