Council Preview: Fair Housing and Service Contracts
Larkspur City Council meets at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 3.

Larkspur City Councilmembers may declare April Fair Housing month during Wednesday's council meeting, as well as approve several service contracts.
On the council's consent calendar are several service contracts including engineering services, traffic consulting and bridge projects.
According to city documents, the bridge project includes restoration of the Alexander Bridge.

"The Alexander Bridge Seismic retrofit and rehabilitation project is included in the City of Larkspur Capital Improvement projects for fiscal year 2012/2013," according to city documents. "The project includes the seismic retrofit and restoration of the historic Alexander Bridge. The project qualified for federal highway bridge replacement funding and has been processed through regulatory permitting, environmental clearance and construction documents prepared and issued for bid. The Engineer’s Construction Estimate for the Total Base Bid was $1,400,000.00"
