Fourth Of July Parade, Road Closure Details Announced In Marin County
Roads will be closed on these popular streets for the Independence Day Celebration.
CORTE MADERA, CA — The annual Fourth of July Parade and Art Fair will once again return to the Corte Madera Town Park, which will cause several roads to close, police said.
At 10:30 a.m., the parade will start at the Redwood High School in Larkspur and will proceed westbound on Doherty Drive before turning southbound onto Magnolia Avenue. It will then continue onto Corte Madera Avenue, turn eastbound onto Redwood Avenue and then head east along Tamalpais Drive before ending at the intersection of Tampalpais and Madera Boulevard.
At 10 a.m., the Central Marin Police Department will begin closing roads until the parade reaches its end at around 1:30 p.m.

After 10 AM, Madera Boulevard access from westbound Tamalpais Drive or the south side of Corte Madera Town Center will be restricted to parade traffic. For shopping center parking, use the Madera Boulevard exit from US-101 South or the Paradise Drive exit from US-101 Northbound.
Magnolia Avenue will close southbound at Bon Air Road. Corte Madera Avenue and Redwood Avenue will close at town limits for parade through-traffic. Lucky Drive will close at Fifer Avenue and traffic must turn onto Tamal Vista Boulevard, police said.

Pixley Avenue will be closed all day, with resident-only access for Pixley and lower Redwood Avenue. The tennis court parking will be reserved for arts and crafts vendors, police said.
