ABAG is a hot-button term around town these days, sure to stir up some lively conversation. Get the latest on ABAG and the Plan Bay Area on Monday at 2 p.m. when the Executive Committee of the Transportation Authority of Marin meets in San Rafael.
TAM is scheduled to discuss the preferred scenarios for the controversial Plan Bay Area, which is supposed to map out future land use, transportation, greenhouse gas emission reductions and housing in the area.
Check out the projections provided by ABAG for housing growth and employment in Larkspur and Corte Madera and judge for yourself if they are on target or not.

• Need help starting your business, or do you just want to generate more of a buzz around your store? If so, come to this program to learn how the Small Business Development Center can help during Tuesday's free session at the Corte Madera Library, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
• Children ages birth through 30 months and their caregivers are invited to join a half-hour storytime at the Larkspur Library, beginning at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday. Baby Bounce is a lively mix of songs, nursery rhymes, fingerplays and very short books.
• Mother Goose is on the loose at the Corte Madera Library every Tuesday at 10 a.m. for storytime for babies 0-24 months old, with a parent or caregiver.
