Mill Valley Liquor Store Sells Winning $300,000 Lottery Ticket
While no one struck the Mega Millions jackpot Tuesday, one lucky local resident bought a ticket at Jolly King Liquors on Miller Ave that matched five of the six numbers, good for more than $308,000. Who was it?

One of Sue Dhir's customers at on Miller Avenue in Mill Valley just won more than $308,000 in the California Lottery.
Dhir sold one of nine tickets that matched five of the six numbers in Tuesday night's MEGA Millions drawing, and each of those winning tickets are worth $308,573.
"It's exciting," Dhir said. "There were a lot of people coming in to buy tickets last night so I don't know who it was. This is the first we've sold a big winning ticket like this."

A California Lottery spokesman said that no one has claimed the winning ticket sold at Jolly Liquors yet. That person has two options to do so: by walking into the closest California Lottery District office - in this case in San Francisco's Potrero Hill - or by mail.
Because no ticket matched all six numbers in Tuesday night's drawing, the jackpot in Friday's drawing has reached approximately $476 million.

Corte Madera's Alcos Colonial Market on Tamalpais Drive reportedly sold a lottery ticket worth $50 million about seven years ago, but hasn't had a big winner since.
In addition to the ticket sold at Jolly King, the other winning tickets were sold in Redding, San Bernardino, Sacramento, Placentia, Imperial Beach, Corona, Santa Monica and Fontana.
Jolly King also sold another winning ticket, this one worth $13,000, to an employee pool at the Alice 97.3 radio station in San Francisco that included Mill Valley resident and "Sarah and Vinnie" host Sarah Clark.
