Monday Rant: Was It Worth It To Go After Clemens?

Are you at work, watching the minutes on the clock tick away slower and slower? Really, do we have to have Mondays?

Well, here's your chance to let off some steam. Go ahead and rant about whatever you want.

Did you hear the news about Roger Clemens? He's been acquitted on all charges. Was the trial really worth it? It seems like the Federal Government must have had better things to do than to chase alleged steroid users.

It seems like everyone in sports was using steroids during that era. Sure, bringing the steroid scandal to light might have changed the sports culture, but what was going to happen to Clemens if he was found guilty? Why send him to prison when some of the admitted users are still in the game?

Why weren't the Feds cracking down more on bankers and predatory lenders? Couldn't some of the money used to prosecute Clemens and Barry Bonds have been used to jail the real drug pushers, the ones getting rich of cocaine and heroin?
