Police Arrest Man on Slew of Drug Possession Allegations
Police said 34-year-old driver was found in possession of heroin, methamphetamine and prescription pills for which the driver did not have a valid prescription.

Central Marin Police arrested a 34-year-old man on suspicion of a bevy of drug possession charges Sunday night.
Central Marin Police officer Anthony Shaw was on patrol in the 1800 block of Redwood Hwy. near the border of Corte Madera and Greenbrae when he noticed a suspicious vehicle parked in the gravel lot at 1880 Redwood Highway, according to Corporal Sethi Jervan.
Shaw approached the vehicle and spotted several syringes in and all around the car. After confirming that the driver had no medical need for the syringes, Shaw searched the car and located several bindles each of suspected heroin and methamphetamine, Jervan said. Shaw also found prescription pills for which the driver did not have a valid prescription, she said.

Gabriel Higi, 34, was arrested on suspicion of drug paraphernalia, possession of heroin, possession of methamphetamine and possession of prescription drugs without a valid prescription. He was later booked into Marin County Jail.
