Redwood High Student Sentenced for Possession of Pipe Bomb

He was also found in possession of marijuana for sale, the Marin Independent Journal reports.

An 18-year-old Larkspur student pleaded guilty to being in possession of a pipe bomb, marijuana for sale and non-permitted fireworks, according to the Marin Independent Journal

Afton Charles Wight, a Redwood High School student, will serve 45 days in jail, the Journal reports

Wight was arrested March 28 in Belvedere after police spotted him in a parked vehicle that smelled like marijuana, the Journal reports.

He was in possession of about three ounces of marijuana reportedly for sale, gunpowder, a slingshot devise, firecrackers and three pipe bombs. One of the pipe bombs had an exposed fuse, Bay City News reported.
