Report Of Indecent Exposure Lands Man In Jail For Theft
Twin Cities Police Log April 18-24: Fairfield man suspected of stealing a car, shoplifting and exposing himself in a store at the Town Center.

During this one week time period, Twin Cities Police had 317 calls for service. This included three calls related to hit and run accidents and six property-damage only accidents. There was one auto burglary, two commercial burglaries and four residential burglaries. There were no calls related to Driving while Intoxicated.
Arrests do not necessarily equal convictions.
• A Security Officer for the Corte Madera Town Center reported a female customer had seen a male subject indecently exposing himself in the back aisle of one of the stores in the shopping center. Twin Cities Police Officers checked the area and were unable to locate the subject.

The Security Officer later called back and advised the same person is now back inside another store at the shopping center. Contact was made with a Fairfield man who was subsequently arrested for Possession of Stolen property. He was booked at the Marin County Jail.
While on patrol in the area of the Corte Madera Town Center, a TCPA Officer located a vehicle reported stolen to the Sausalito Police Department on April, 23, 2012. The vehicle was unoccupied. The vehicle was determined to be associated with the arrested subject. The Sausalito Police Department and the vehicle’s owner were notified. There is further investigation pending.
• A resident of the 50 block of Walnut Avenue reported a fraud that occurred in 2008. She suspects a contractor who was working in her residence at that time did not return her credit card and ran up more than $3,000 in bills on the account. Documentation was provided for the Fraud.
• A resident of Palo Alto, via a report from the Palo Alto Police Department, reported that she had been a victim of fraud. The victim’s credit was used to make a $900 purchase at the Apple Store, located in the Village Shopping Center. A Fraud report was taken and there is possible further investigation pending.
• A resident of the 200 block of Via Casitas reported a subject she has a restraining order against has been circulating a note saying the she and her husband are convicted felons. She had a copy of the note. Advice was given and documentation was provided for the incident.
• A resident of the 200 block of Lower Via Casitas reported someone kicked in the door to their storage unit and stole numerous items belonging to their business. The approximate loss is $1,000. A Residential Burglary report was taken for documentation.
• Officers responded to San Andreas High School for a report of a subject who was in possession of narcotics paraphernalia. During a search of the subject at the school by his Juvenile Probation Officer, narcotics paraphernalia was located. A Mill Valley juvenile male was arrested for Possession of Narcotics Paraphernalia on School Grounds and Violation of Probation. He was booked at the Marin County Juvenile Hall.
• A resident of the 50 block of Parkview Circle reported having been involved in a domestic battery incident. She reported that her husband had grabbed her. A Domestic Battery report was taken for documentation. Officers responded to the residence and contacted the husband for an interview. After officers were involved in a physical altercation with the subject, a Corte Madera man was arrested for Battery on a Police Officer, Obstructing a Police Officer, Domestic Battery, and False Imprisonment. He was booked into the Marin County Jail.
• An employee of a business in the 500 building of Tamal Plaza reported she found two small glass jars hidden in the plant in her office. She stated she believes the jars had been placed there by a subject who was transported to the Marin General Hospital Emergency Room and that they may contain drugs. Two small vials of Marijuana were seized for destruction.
• TCPA Officers responded to the Lucky Jeans Store, located in the Village Shopping Center, on a report of a male subject in the store and attempting to use a stolen credit card. Officers contacted a South San Francisco man who was arrested for Commercial Burglary, Providing False Information to a Police Officer and Theft with a stolen Credit Card. He was booked into the Marin County Jail. Several days later, a vehicle was located in the parking lot at the Village Shopping Center which had been reported as stolen to the San Francisco Police Department. There were items in the vehicle linking it to the subject who had been previously arrested. A recovered stolen vehicle report was taken and forwarded to the Marin County District Attorney’s Office for additional charges. The vehicle was removed from the Stolen Vehicle System.
• A resident of the 100 block of Lower Via Casitas reported her storage unit was entered via the lock being broken and it was ransacked. She also stated she had found items sitting outside the storage unit in the parking lot. Taken were an electric guitar, clothing, household items, and tennis gear. The loss was estimated at $3000. A Residential Burglary report was taken.
• A resident of the 300 block of Via Casitas reported someone went into her open garage and entered her vehicle, which may have been unlocked. Taken were an iPod and gift coupons. A Residential Burglary report was taken.
• A resident of the 100 block of Lower Via Casitas reported his storage locker was entered and approximately $1,000 in Christmas decorations and other items were taken. A Residential Burglary report was taken to document the theft.
• A resident in the 70 block of Briar Road reported her son stole her jewelry and was going to sell it for drugs. Now his ex-girlfriend has possession of the property and is using it as collateral for a debt the son owes her. Taken were three sets of earrings and a bracelet. A report was taken for Possession of Stolen Property and Extortion. There is further investigation pending.
• A resident of the 500 block of Magnolia Avenue reported a physical fight in the Silver Peso Bar, located at 450 Magnolia Ave. Officers arrested a Fairfax man for Public Intoxication. He was booked into the Marin County Jail.
• A resident of the 100 block of Palm Ave. reported someone accessed her account and spent $128.43 for groceries. Documentation was provided for the Fraud.
• A caller reported six to seven juveniles walking on the solar panels on the roof of the Marin Primary School, located at 20 Magnolia Ave. Officers contacted the juveniles behind the school who were reprimanded and released.
• A resident of the 10 block of Escalle Lane reported his two sets of golf clubs, a snow board, and a black Santa Cruz superlight, men's 21 speed mountain bike were taken from his garage. The approximate loss is $5,000. A Residential Burglary report was taken.
• A business located in the Village Shopping Center reported a theft had occurred with an approximate $600 loss. They reported that five subjects attempted to return five items, but the store accepted only one. They believe those items were stolen. The theft had not been witnessed, however employees found discarded clothing sensors outside the store. Documentation was provided for the incident.
• A resident of the 300 block of North Almenar reported the fraudulent use of his gas card. The fraudulent charges occurred mostly in Southern California. There have been five fraudulent charges and the credit card company cancelled charges and the card. Documentation was provided for the fraud.
• A San Rafael resident reported his laptop computer, valued at approximately $,1000, was stolen from his vehicle while it was parked in the west lot at Redwood High School. Vehicle may have been left unlocked, but he found it locked when he returned. There doesn't appear to be any signs of force to the vehicle. A Grand Theft report was taken for documentation.
• A resident of the 10 block of Fawn Lane reported someone gained access to her credit card information and made charges. A Fraud report was taken for documentation.
• A resident of the 40 block of Alta Way reported his son's vehicle was broken into. An iPod and a Fastrak transponder were taken. An Auto Burglary report was taken for documentation.
