'Sidewalk CPR' Crash Courses Return To Marin Next Month
Marin County residents will be able to learn some life-saving skills next month at free training sessions across the region.
LARKSPUR, CA — Marin Health and Human Services is inviting residents to take a few minutes out of their day next month to participate in free 15-minute "crash courses," teaching hands-only CPR, AED operation, Narcan use and "Stop the Bleed" techniques.
Hosted by former trauma nurse Karrie Groves, Marin Sidewalk CPR is designed to equip residents with life-saving skills they can learn the basics of in just a few minutes. The short courses will be available at several locations across Marin County on Saturday, Aug. 19, anytime between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
