Teen Accused Of Stealing E-Bike At Gunpoint
Police allege a 15-year-old boy stole an e-bike at gunpoint and threatened to kill two juveniles sitting on a park bench.
LARKSPUR, CA — A 15-year-old boy could face multiple felony charges after police allege he stole an electric bike at gunpoint and fled from authorities in Greenbrae.
According to the Central Marin Police Authority, two teens were talking on a bench along Corte Madera Creek when a young stranger approached them last Friday night. The victims told police the boy brandished a handgun with an extended magazine and demanded the keys to one of their e-bikes while threatening to kill them.
Police said the teen suspect fled with the stolen bike, unaware it had been equipped with a tracking device after being recovered from a previous theft.
