Viewfinder: Wild Life In The Twin Cities

We get some help introducing our new weekly photo gallery from some of the local residents — of both the two- and four-footed variety.

Welcome to Viewfinder, the new weekly photo gallery that captures the week of photos from around the Twin Cities area. Each week, Patch photographers and contributors are out and about in Corte Madera, Larkspur, Greenbrae and Kentfield, so be ready with a pose.

This week's pics include some very obliging deer on Opal Street in Larkspur, as well as a scrap-metal goat outside Swiss Garage on Magnolia. Larkpsur Mayor Larry Chu shares the scene with Jazzie, the neighborhood cat, who took a nap during a recent city council session.

Middle school students in Larkspur were drumming up business Thursday for a carwash, thanks to the recent sunny weather. This probably wouldn't work in Pennsylvania right now.
