Weapons Violations, Paint Ball Guns And Toy Rifles
Twin Cities Police Log April 11-17: Police responded to two reports of juveniles with toy guns, but they also responded to more serious violations.

The following information was supplied by the Twin Cities Police Department, unless otherwise noted, and does not indicate a conviction. This is the crime bulletin from April 11 through April 17.
• Pursuant to being contacted by a Twin Cities Police Officer in the 500 block of Tamalpais Drive, a San Rafael man was arrested for a Violation of Probation and Weapons Violations and released at the scene on a citation. A Novato woman was arrested for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and a Violation of Probation. She was also released at the scene on a citation.
• The Corte Madera Department of Public Works reported graffiti in men's bathroom and on the walls at Corte Madera Town Park. Photographs were taken for documentation.
• A resident of the 900 block of Via Casitas reported her unlocked vehicle had been entered. Taken were a GPS unit and pair of sunglasses.

• A resident of the 400 block of South Eliseo Drive reported someone used her two year old son’s name and Social Security number fraudulently to obtain credit. An Identity Theft report was taken and there is possible further investigation pending.
• A Fairfax resident reported that while she was at a business in the Marin Country Mart Shopping Center, her wallet was taken from her purse. She advised one of her credit cards was used at a local gas station. A report was taken and there is possible further investigation pending.
• Pursuant to being contacted by an Officer in the area of Casa Buena Drive and Conow Street, a Corte Madera man was found to be intoxicated in public. He was arrested for Public Intoxication and booked into the Marin County Jail.
• A Fairfax resident reported while her vehicle was parked in a lot in the 2100 block of Redwood Highway, someone smashed the window to the vehicle and the stereo, valued at approximately $200, was stolen. An Auto Burglary report was taken to document the incident.
• A San Rafael resident reported that while he was at the Marin Country Mart Shopping Center, in the area of the 24 Hour Fitness, he lost his wallet. Since that time there has been fraudulent activity on his credit cards. A Fraud report was taken and there is follow-up investigation pending.
• A resident of the 300 block of Chapman Avenue reported a theft of a bracelet, with and approximate value of $1,800, from her residence. A Grand Theft report was taken.
• A resident of Bend, Ore., reported that while her vehicle was parked in the lot at the Cost Plus Plaza Shopping Center, her vehicle was entered via the front passenger window being smashed with a rock and her purse and checks were taken. An Auto Burglary report was taken.
• A Mill Valley resident reported that while her vehicle was parked in a lot at the Corte Madera Town Center, in the area of the PF Chang’s Restaurant, the rear driver’s window was smashed out. A gym bag and approximately $460 in miscellaneous items were taken. An Auto Burglary report was taken for documentation.
• Pursuant to a traffic stop in the 800 block of Tamalpais Drive, a Novato man was found to be in possession of narcotics and in Violation of Probation. He was arrested for Possession of Narcotics, Cultivation of Marijuana and Violation of Probation and booked into the Marin County Jail.
• A San Rafael resident reported that while his vehicle was parked in the lot at the Mt. Tam Racquet Club, 1 Larkspur Plaza Drive, a camera valued at $1000 was stolen from his vehicle. He was unsure if the vehicle had been locked. A Grand Theft report was taken for documentation.
• An anonymous citizen reported two girls and a boy shooting a pellet or air gun in the marsh area, near the end of Industrial Way. Officers contacted juveniles with paint ball equipment who were released to their parents and advised not to go back in the area.
• A manager for Macy’s, located in the Village Shopping Center, advised their Loss Prevention agents had a subject detained on the ground outside of the store for the theft of merchandise valued at $362. Officers responded and arrested a San Leandro juvenile female for Shoplifting. She was released to a relative on a citation.
• A resident of the 20 block of Estrada Lane reported she just returned to her house and found bags of her property on her front porch. Officers responded and checked the interior with negative results. It was determined that women's clothing, valued at $200, had been taken. A Residential Burglary report was taken and there is further investigation in progress.
• A resident of the 400 block of South Eliseo Drive reported she is the victim of an identity theft. She advised that someone used her Social Security number to file a Federal Tax Return under her name. There is no loss at this time. An Identity Theft report was taken.
• A Loss Prevention Agent for Macy’s, located in the Village Shopping Center, reported he has a trespasser detained in the security office. A Novato man was arrested for Trespassing and was released at the scene on a citation.
• A resident of the 10 block of Pixley Avenue reported her vehicle was “keyed.” Documentation was provided for the vandalism.
• A juvenile Tiburon resident reported theft of her cell phone from the girl's locker room at Redwood High School. A Corte Madera juvenile female was arrested for Petty Theft and Conspiracy. She was released to the school on a citation. A second juvenile San Anselmo female was also arrested for Conspiracy and released to a parent on a citation at the school.
• A resident of the 500 block of South Eliseo Drive reported he had parked his bike in the garage leaning against the wall and now it's gone. The bicycle is a purple Gary Fisher Men’s 21 speed mountain bike valued at $500. A Residential Burglary report was taken for documentation.
• A Loss Prevention Agent for Macy’s, located in the Village Shopping Center, reported a subject in custody for the theft of two pairs of Polo underwear and a belt, for a loss of $117. A Ross man was arrested for Shoplifting and was released at the scene on a citation.
• A San Rafael resident reported the theft of her iPhone while she was at Corte Madera Town Park. A Theft report was taken for documentation.
• An off duty San Francisco Police Department Officer reported that he had observed a subject carrying a blue rifle bag walking on the frontage road at the end of Casa Buena Drive and then headed up the hillside. He advised the subject is wearing a "Ghillie" suit. TCPA Officers made contact with two Corte Madera juveniles who were in possession of air soft rifles. They were reprimanded and released to parents. An incident report was taken for documentation.
During this one week time period, Twin Cities Police had 279 calls for service. This included two calls related to hit and run accidents and two property damage only accidents. There were four auto burglaries and two residential burglaries. There were no calls related to Driving while Intoxicated.
