Community Invited to “Skate to Donate” Fundraiser Supporting Lemon Grove Youth Programs

Lemon Grove, CA — The Lemon Grove Forward Club is excited to announce a family-friendly community fundraiser, Skate to Donate, taking place on Sunday, January 4, 2026, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Ringer’s Skating Rink in San Diego.

This special community event invites families, friends, and neighbors to enjoy an afternoon of roller skating while supporting youth-centered programs and community initiatives in Lemon Grove. The Forward Club, originally founded in 1913, is dedicated to enhancing opportunities for local youth and addressing the needs of the Lemon Grove community.

Admission is $18, which includes rink entry and family-friendly activities. Five dollars from every paid admission will be donated directly to the Lemon Grove Forward Club to support its ongoing youth programs and community projects. Skate and equipment rentals will be available for a small additional fee available to add at time of checkout.

Guests are encouraged to bring a friend—or two! The more participants who attend, the more funds will be raised to help strengthen Lemon Grove’s future.

Attendees can reserve their spots in advance by scanning the QR code on event materials or visiting the online reservation link.

We come together to improve access to youth, senior and educational activities, while building relationships with other non-profits and community organizations to help create opportunities for others.
