Cool Zone Site Open In Lemon Grove Amid San Diego Heat Wave
Cool Zone sites include San Diego County's 33 branch libraries, community centers and other locations across the San Diego region.
LEMON GROVE, CA — Stay cool amid the heat wave at one of San Diego County's designated Cool Zones.
In Lemon Grove, the County of San Diego Library's Lemon Grove Branch at 3001 School Lane serves as a Cool Zone site.
The county created the Cool Zone program two decades ago to provide free and safe air-conditioned spaces for older adults, people with disabilities and others with health concerns that could be complicated by the effects of extreme heat.

The program will run through Oct. 31. Cool Zone sites include the county's 33 branch libraries, community centers and other locations across the region.
