The first lesson is always free! The teacher and forever student, whose name is Jan Parra. Jan has been teaching for more than 35 years. He started studying at the Conservatory of Music when he was 13 years old. Later in College Music theory in his Hometown of Venezuela, and then became a Certified Instructor through Berklee College of Music. Many of Jan's Students have gone on to record albums, tour outside the US, become Sound Engineers, Professional Guitar Players, and meet their guitar-playing and music goals. Jan worked hand in hand on several projects with producers like Trino Jimenez, a famous Latin Music Producer and Arranger. Trino Jimenez arranged one of Jan's nostalgic, beautiful master piece called "Delirium", "Ayer". Jan's Music is being played by Orchestras and theaters. Jan is well-versed as an instrumentalist playing the Electric Guitar, Acoustic Guitar, Classical Guitar, Ukulele, and Bass.

LEMON GROVE, CA - An intersection closure remains under way in Lemon Grove, and local officials are reminding residents to reroute to avoid delays.Contractors began last week installing pedestrian curb ramps and a cross gutter at Pacific Avenue and Main Street, according to a community update. The work is part of the Connect Main Street Project.Motorists will not be able to access the intersection until construction is complete; likely on or around April 27.The attached detour map identifies an alternate route for local drivers. Those with questions should call the Lemon Grove Engineering Department at 619-825-3811.
