Lemon Grove Drivers See Gas Prices Rise in Six-Day Surge
Gas prices have risen for six days in a row.

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County rose six-tenths of a cent Sunday to $4.053, one day after increasing nine-tenths of a cent.
The average price has risen six consecutive days and is 3.4 cents more than one week ago, 6.6 cents higher than one month ago and 35.9 cents greater than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The cheapest gas in Lemon GroveΒ can be found at Food 4 Less, 7420 Broadway, or Golden State, 7081 Broadway,Β for $3.87 per gallon, according to GasBuddy.com.

The rising prices stem from concerns over supplies caused by "exports of refined gasoline to more profitable markets overseas and continued refinery issues," according to Jeffrey Spring of the Automobile Club of Southern California.
