Weekly Crime Report: Sept. 29-Oct. 4

Items of note from the desk of the Lemon Grove station of the San Diego County Sheriff's Department as of Oct. 4:

Sept. 29

A 32-year-old female was robbed of a cell phone in the 7900 block of Broadway just after 3 p.m.

Sept. 30

A stolen van valued at $2,000 was recovered in the 7100 block of Broadway during the morning hours.

A 43-year-old man was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon/lethal cutting instrument in the 2900 block of Flores Lane at 11 p.m. A 35-year-old female suffered a severe laceration to the head. 

Oct. 1

A commercial burglary was reported in the 7500 block of Broadway; $12,600 in currency was reported stolen sometime between 6:45 p.m.  Sept. 30 and 7 a.m. Oct. 1.

A 44-year-old man was arrested in the 1100 block of Jamacha Boulevard just after 11 a.m. for felony vehicle theft. A car valued at $8,000 was recovered.

A 28-year-old male reported he was the victim of an assault with a deadly weapon/not firearm at 3 a.m. in the 5500 block of Jamacha Boulevard

Oct. 2

A pickup truck valued at $6,000 was recovered on North Avenue at Olive Street around 4 p.m.

A 55-year-old man reported $60 worth of marijuana stolen around 11:30 a.m. in the 7900 block of North Avenue.

A stolen car valued at $2,000 was recovered in the 8100 block of Lemon Grove Way just after 9 p.m.

Oct. 3

A 57-year-old man was arrested for a felony parole violation in the 7800 block of Golden Avenue around 2 p.m.

A stolen car valued at $1,000 was recovered in the 8100 block of Lemon Grove Way around 8 a.m.

A petty theft was reported in the 6900 block of Central Avenue. The missing items were valued at $300, stolen sometime between 8 a.m. on Oct. 1 and 10 a.m. Oct. 3.

A bottle of liquor valued at $26.99 was reported shoplifted from the Rite Aid on Broadway at 7:15 a.m.

Oct. 4

A 54-year-old woman was arrested on a felony warrant in the 7900 block of North Avenue at 4:41 a.m.

A 23-year-old woman was arrested on one felony possession of a controlled substance charge and three misdemeanors in the 7900 block of North Avenue at 4:20 a.m.

A 48-year-old man was arrested on one felony possession of a controlled substance charge and two misdemeanors in the 7900 block of North Avenue just after 1 a.m.
