CALIFORNIA — A new survey of renters found that 71 percent of them want to buy a home, according to a report from IPX1031, which is affiliated with Fidelity. The biggest deterrents to buying a home are money, interest rates, and debt.

Three Southern California cities made the list of communities with the most renters. Glendale has the largest percentage of renters at 64 percent of the population, Los Angeles was next with 63 percent followed by Inglewood at 62 percent.
