Animal abuse survivor and ambassador for hope BENNY THE CAT will celebrate his birthday on Saturday, August 23 at a fundraising festival hosted by Helen Sanders CatPAWS. The party will be a joyful celebration of Benny's resilience and all the pets we love with vendors, music, raffles, games, prizes and - get this - cake is included!
Benny's Party is from 11am - 3 pm at the Marina Community Center, 151 Marina Drive in Seal Beach. Admission is just $20 and kids 12 and under are FREE. Tickets may be purchased HERE, or at the door.
Special guests include Long Beach Animal Care Services with their canine Adoption Waggin', OC Animal Allies with their special PAWS therapy dogs, and Animal Assistance League of OC, a non-profit humane society dedicated to aiding lost and homeless pets.
Over 15 vendors will showcase their products and services which include clothing, jewelry, pet supplies, organic beauty products and soaps, pet sitting and more.
Helen Sanders CatPAWS is a Seal Beach-based non-profit feline rescue with adoptable cats at PetSmart in Rossmoor. All money raised at Benny's Party will go toward their rescue, adoption, spay & neuter programs and community services like pet therapy for seniors.
