The Seal Beach Police Department said a car drove into the Taco Surf restaurant on Sunday.

SEAL BEACH, CA — The Seal Beach Police Department said a Norwalk man was arrested in connection to a car driving into a restaurant early Sunday morning.

Ted Lorenzo Ramirez, 22, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and causing injuries, police said. He was booked into Orange County Jail and later released on bond the same day, according to jail records.

Police officers responded to the Taco Surf restaurant at 16281 Pacific Coast Highway around 1:12 a.m. after receiving word of a car crashed into the business, Lt. Nick Nicholas said. There were no other cars or people involved in the crash.
