Pacific Airshow Takes Flight In Huntington Beach This Fall
The Pacific Airshow's return to Huntington Beach coincides with the 75th anniversary of the United States Air Force.

HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA — The skies above Huntington Beach will roar to life on Sept. 30 with the return of the Pacific Airshow.
The aviation event will be from Sept. 30 to Oct. 2 and will feature "world-class aviation, stunning aerobatics, engaging exhibits, a high-speed boat are around Catalina Island," organizers for the Pacific Airshow said. The associated Afterburner Music Festival will also be in Huntington Beach from Sept. 30 to Oct. 1.
Kevin Elliott, director of the Pacific Airshow and Afterburner Music Festival, said the combined events have "become the cornerstone events of the fall season in Southern California."

"Whether you are mesmerized by the aircraft, captivated by the boats on the water or listening to great music, Pacific Airshow and Afterburner Music Festival have something for everyone," Elliott said.
The airshow coincides with the 75th anniversary of the United States Air Force and will feature aerial displays from the military branch's Thunderbirds, Elliott said. The Canadian Snowbirds will also perform maneuvers.

"The Thunderbirds and the Snowbirds are just the beginning of a world-class line-up — with more details, and a few surprises, to be announced soon," Elliott said.
Tickets for the airshow and music festival are not yet on sale.
