Rossmoor Woman's Club Donates $1K Toward The Youth Center

LOS ALAMITOS, CA — The Youth Center in Los Alamitos is one step closer to building a permanent home thanks to a donation from the Rossmoor Woman’s Club.
The woman's club recently made a $1,000 donation toward the center's efforts to build a permanent facility in the city.
The Youth Center is currently housed near Oak Middle School, and its lease at the building expires next year, the Rossmoor Woman's Club said. The center intends to raise $250,000 to build a new permanent home along Los Alamitos Boulevard.

The nonprofit center was established in 1952 to provide youths attending the Los Alamitos Unified School District with after-school and summer programs, the woman's club said.
