SEAL BEACH, CA — Officers at the Seal Beach Police Department will wear patches on their uniforms featuring an illustration of a jigsaw puzzle throughout April as part of Autism Awareness Month.

Patrol cars will have magnetic decals recognizing the awareness campaign in addition to the uniform patches, the Seal Beach police said.

Residents also have the opportunity to buy their own Autism Awareness Month patches directly from the department for $10 each. Proceeds from the patches will go to an "organization within the autism community," Seal Beach police said.
