Seal Beach Residents Can Grab 'Coffee With A Cop' Later This Month

The Seal Beach Police Department will head to Eisenhower Park for a "Coffee With A Cop" event.

SEAL BEACH, CA — Residents can grab a cup of coffee Wednesday and talk about public safety issues with local law enforcement officers when the Seal Beach Police Department hosts a "Coffee With A Cop" event.

Police officers will be on hand to discuss any questions about public safety and crime in Seal Beach, Lt. Nick Nicholas said. Seal Beach Mayor Joe Kalmick will also be at the event to talk with residents.

The event will be at Eisenhower Park from 5 to 7 p.m. with coffee donated by Bogart's Coffee House, Nicholas said.

He said the event is a way for residents to "ask questions, voice concerns and get to know their police department."

"The relaxed nature of this event is intended to allow the police department to get to know the community, and for community members to get to know the officers who serve Seal Beach," Nicholas said.
