Super Bowl Sunday In Seal Beach To See Increased DUI Enforcement

Authorities in Seal Beach are warning anyone watching the big game to use a ride-share service or designate a sober driver.

SEAL BEACH, CA — With the Los Angeles Rams set to take on the Cincinnati Bengals on Super Bowl Sunday, the Seal Beach Police Department is warning anyone in the city watching the big game to drink responsibly.

The police department will step up its DUI enforcement during the game Sunday with additional officers on the lookout for drivers suspects of being under the influence of drugs or alcohol, officials said.

"If you plan to have a drink or two, choose a sober way to get to and from wherever you are watching the game," Police Chief Philip Gonshak said. "Have a ride-hailing service or a family member who hasn't been drinking take you home."
