Woman who Died in Crash Near Airport Was from Seal Beach

The 70-year-old's husband survived the collision.

The Los Angeles County coroner’s office today released the name of a woman who died in a collision near the Long Beach Airport in which her husband was injured.

Seventy-year-old Kwang Sohn lived in Seal Beach, said coroner’s Lt. Larry Dietz.

The accident at Cherry Avenue and 33rd Street occurred about 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Long Beach police Sgt. Megan Zabel said. One of the three vehicles struck was parked and unoccupied, she said.
