Council Meeting to Address Lagoon Project

City Council will discuss the Malibu Lagoon Restoration Project on Monday night.

Monday night's Malibu City Council meeting will include a decision regarding the City's stance on the Malibu Lagoon Restoration Project.

Outgoing Councilmember Pamela Conley Ulich has proposed that City Council authorize the Mayor to send a letter to Governor Jerry Brown indicating the City's opposition to the project, as well as direct the City Manager to negotiate an agreement with U.S. Geological Survey to conduct an independent study of the project.
