City Holds Annual Easter Event

The Easter Hoppening Celebration will take place Saturday morning.

The following is an edited press release from the City of Malibu.

The City of Malibu will host its annual Easter Hoppening at Malibu Bluffs Park on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. Admission is free and open to the public. 

An Easter egg hunt will begin at 12 p.m. for children ages 1-10. The event will also include bounce houses for $1, photos with the Easter Bunny, face painting, a Dogtown Dogs Food Truck, Hui Hui Shaved Ice, crafts, and cartoon demonstrations by Larry Scott.

Adults may also participate in the fun by joining the Egg Hunt for Adults, which is free and open to participants 18 and older. Special prizes include Dodger tickets, Pacific Park ride tickets, coupons for free yoga classes at 5 Point Yoga, Guido’s food coupons, movie tickets, Subway Sandwich coupons, candy, toys and more. The Egg Hunt for Adults will take place after the children’s egg hunt.

Participants should bring a basket and camera. All eggs used at the event are biodegradable.
