Los Angeles County Sheriff's Lieutenant Joe Fender has been named Acting Captain to lead the Malibu / Lost Hills Sheriff's Station, effective February 25. He will serve as Acting Captain until a selection on the new Captain is made later this year. Malibu Lost Hills Station Captain Salvador “Chuck” Becerra left the post after two years to lead the Norwalk Sheriff's Station. We thank Captain Becerra for his work serving the Malibu community, and welcome Acting Captain Joe Fender. Lieutenant Fender has worked previously as Malibu Lost Hills Station as the Detective Lieutenant and the Service Area Lieutenant for Westlake Village and Hidden hills. We look forward to working with you!
