Earth Day Events Will Go All Month in Malibu
The city of Malibu is going to celebrate Earth Day all month long starting March 23 by turning off the lights.

The City of Malibu is going green by celebrating Earth Day for a month starting by participating in Earth Hour on Saturday, March 23.
The nearly decade old event asks that households and businesses worldwide save energy by turning off their non-essential lights from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
During its March 11 meeting, the Malibu City Council proclaimed March 23 through April 30 as "Earth Month."
