Malibu Lagoon's history, restoration and birds will be among the talking points of an upcoming Wednesday night presentation from photographer James Kenney.
The presentation, entitled "The Birds of Malibu Lagoon: Will They Return?", will be hosted by the Malibu Garden Club and takes place 7 p.m. Wednesday at the clubhouse of the Point Dume Club, 29500 W. Heathercliff Road.
According to the Garden Club, Kenney has spent the last six years aking pictures of the lagoon's birds, and his photos have appeared in the Palisadian-Post, Los Angeles Times and environmental magazines.
