A tropical disturbance off the coast of Cabo San Lucas could bring warm weather, humid conditions and the possibility of thunderstorms to Malibu next week.
The tropical system could move north and into Southern California by Sunday, with the potential for thunderstorms in the Los Angeles County mountains by Monday, according to the National Weather Service.
Temperatures could reach into the upper 70s in Malibu, with overnight lows in the 60s. In the nearby Santa Monica Mountains, temps are expected to reach into the mid-90s and as high as 100 degrees, forecasters warned.
