Los Angeles Rain Prompts Beach Advisory In Malibu
Angelenos were advised to avoid county beaches until Monday at earliest.

MALIBU, CA — After more rains in Los Angeles County, authorities warned beachgoers to avoid Malibu waters due to increased bacteria, chemicals, trash and debris.
The water advisory will remain in place at all Los Angeles County beaches through at least 10 a.m. Monday, according to the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health. The advisory could be extended with more rain.
City streets and mountain areas are likely to contaminate oceans and storm drains, creeks and rivers after rainfall, according to the department.
