Malibu Canyon Reopened After Rock Slide
Malibu Canyon Road was closed in both directions Wednesday after a rock slide.

MALIBU, CA — Malibu Canyon Road was reopened Thursday morning south of Piuma Road after a rock slide closed the roadway in both directions Wednesday, according to the city of Malibu.
Drivers were still advised to drive with caution Thursday morning.
A boulder fell into the roadway blocking one lane of Malibu Canyon Road around 3 p.m., shortly after which a number of other rocks dropped down onto the road from the mountain above, according to a Malibu Times reporter.

Both directions of the road were closed near the tunnel through Thursday morning.
